The Stag Public House is an independently owned and operated hospitality venue changing the perception of the Aussie Pub in Adelaide's hospitality scene. The Stag Public House over-delivers on great quality food, locally sourced independent beverages, and energetic large-scale events. The menu is simple and unashamedly “pub” food, in the best way possible. Quality is at the forefront of everything we do! From the local beers we pour fresh from the taps, to the customer experience! 

The Role
The Stag Public House is looking for an energetic and self-motivated team member, to fill the role of Bar Manager on a full-time basis (40-45 hours / week). In this role, you will take on an array of responsibility, including guest communication management, product development, and most importantly, leading the team! 
Our ethos is simple for our leaders, look after the team, so they can look after our guests. 

Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring guest experience metrics are achieved, and train the staff to do the same. 
  • Ensuring the venue is presented & organised to standard at all times, and train the staff to do the same. 
  • Ensuring staff have what they need, to give the best guest experience possible - stock, tools, knowledge, process & skills. 
  • Manage each shift to ensure wage targets are achieved, and train the staff to do the same. 
  • Manage cost of goods targets, through weekly ordering, processing invoices, stock-takes, and accurate POS use from all staff.
